Mission & Visions
The Waterloo School caters for boys and girls with Special Educational Needs related to social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
A key factor to the School’s success is that the pupils enjoy learning.
As well as offering an excellent enriched curriculum that is imaginatively designed to engage all pupils in learning, it succeeds in making learning fun and rewarding.
The Waterloo School ensures the requirements of Every Child Matters are fulfilled, every child does matter and we are determined that our children will succeed.
The school has a very strong staff team where morale is very high. Belief in the work and value of the school is shared by all staff.
Our pupils feel very secure in school. They develop a much improved understanding of what they need to do to be healthy. Our pupils make outstanding preparation for life after Waterloo School. By the time they leave school a great majority of pupils have taken enormous strides towards being able to move onto the next stage of their education.
All pupils including pupils with additional Special Educational Needs have an Individual Education Plan.
Given their previous difficulties in mainstream all pupils make good progress and a number outstanding progress.
We support pupils with a wide range of needs including autism and ADHD.
