Looked after Children (LAC)

At Waterloo School there is a Designated Teacher (DT), who is responsible for ensuring that as a looked after child your receiving the best possible provision.  

Ms Darke will be a key person for you in school and will check in regularly with you, your carer and your social worker.  She will be responsible for holding your termly PEP meetings (Personal Education Plan), where we will share your progress, achievements and targets from school.  You will be asked to join for some of this meeting, if you would like to.

It is important that you feel you can talk to any adult in school but please remember Ms Darke is also available to listen and support you.

If you need to talk to Ms Darke please ask one of your class adults.
